Our Learning Center works with children between the ages of 6 and 15, who are average or above in intelligence and have difficulty in learning to read, write, and spell. Our classes meet one hour a day, four days a week for two years. Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia developed by the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. This service is provided at no cost to the student or the student's family and is covered through the generous support of San Antonio-area Scottish Rite Masons and other contributors. Students receive instruction in Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia developed by the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas. It was developed by the Luke Waites Center for Dyslexia and Language Disorders of Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children (TSRHC) in Dallas for use by academic language therapists with children seven years or older with developmental dyslexia.

Applications are being accepted for the next school year.  Space and class times are limited.
